Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BCLS certification required or must be obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintains anesthesia equipment in surgical services and non-OR locations.
• Stocks non-controlled medications in OR and delivers to OR/Pre-Op and non-OR locations as requested.
• Removes and re-supplies equipment between procedures and cleans/disinfects/sterilizes per hospital procedure.
• Ensures anesthesia carts are stocked, and machines are in each room prior to first procedure and between procedures.
• Assists anesthesia provider during intubating and extubating procedures as directed.
