Job summary

Lexington Health seeks an Anesthesia Technician to assist nurse anesthetists and anesthesiologists in the main OR, OB, and other locations throughout the hospital where anesthesia services are provided. You will perform duties under supervision, ensuring readiness of equipment and a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• CPR Certification required or completed within one year.
• Basic computer skills are necessary for job duties.

Responsibilities

• Check all OR rooms daily prior to OR starts for cleanliness and equipment availability.
• Clean and check anesthesia carts and machines daily per aseptic technique.
• Maintain the Anesthesia Work Room and keep supplies organized and stocked.
• Oversee equipment maintenance, cleaning laryngoscopes and fiber optic tools as needed.
• Coordinate with CRNAs and Anesthesiologists for emergencies and daily scheduling.
