Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital seeks an Anesthesia Technician to assist anesthesia providers and healthcare team during operative procedures. You will prepare anesthesia equipment and supplies for general, monitored anesthesia care, or regional anesthesia, and support anesthesia services.

You will also maintain inventory levels to ensure smooth operating room functioning. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, with 1 year of direct patient care experience and 2 years of OR experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year direct patient care experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• 2 years operating room experience preferred.

Prepares anesthesia equipment and supplies necessary for administration of general, monitored anesthesia care, or regional anesthesia and supports anesthesia services. Maintains inventory levels of anesthesia equipment and supplies. Job responsibilities include specific anesthesia and equipment related comprehensive care to the child, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients undergoing invasive procedures.
