Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital seeks an Anesthesia Technician to assist anesthesia providers and care teams during operative procedures. You will prepare anesthesia equipment and supplies for general, monitored anesthesia care, or regional anesthesia and support anesthesia services.

Responsibilities include maintaining inventory levels of anesthesia equipment and supplies and providing comprehensive care for diverse patient groups including pediatric to geriatric as part of a hospital team.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of direct patient care experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• 2 years of previous OR experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Cer.A.T. - Certified Anesthesia Technician preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist anesthesia providers and health care staff in caring for patients during operative procedures.

Job responsibilities include specific anesthesia and equipment related comprehensive care to the child, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients undergoing invasive procedures.
