Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital in Atlanta, GA seeks an Anesthesia Tech to assist anesthesia providers and other health care staff in caring for patients undergoing invasive procedures. The role involves preparing anesthesia equipment and supplies for general, monitored, or regional anesthesia and supporting anesthesia services.

You will maintain inventory levels of equipment and supplies and provide comprehensive care to patients across age groups in a fast-paced surgical setting.

Qualifications

• Education requirement as stated in the ad.
• 3 years experience as an Anesthesia Tech or Anesthesia Tech Certification Required, or Cer.A.T. or equivalent certification.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support (American Heart Association) Certification Required; Cer.A.T. preferred

Prepares anesthesia equipment and supplies necessary for administration of general, monitored anesthesia care, or regional anesthesia and supports anesthesia services. Maintains inventory levels of anesthesia equipment and supplies. Job responsibilities include specific anesthesia and equipment related comprehensive care to the child, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients undergoing invasive procedures.
