Job summary

SGMC Health seeks an Anesthesia Technician to prepare and maintain anesthesia equipment and supplies on the Main Campus. You will support anesthesiologists and staff to deliver safe patient care in the operating room.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, CPR certification, and preferred OR/hospital experience. You will work PRN on-site in the Anesthesiology department, contributing to team readiness and patient safety.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is required.
• Reading and following simple instructions and memos.
• Flexibility in work schedule, assignments and workload.
• Ability to work well under stress in a hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and ensure readiness of anesthesia equipment and supplies for procedures.
• Support anesthesiologists and anesthesia staff to provide safe patient care.
• Assist in planning for emergencies and maintain readiness of necessary items.
