Job summary

Boca Raton Regional Hospital, part of Baptist Health, seeks an Anesthesia Tech to assist in anesthesia equipment setup and support throughout the surgical process. The role is full-time, located in Boca Raton, with supervision by a licensed anesthesia professional and opportunities to grow in a faith-driven, patient-centered system.

Minimum requirements include high school or equivalent, and Basic Life Support.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent required.
• Basic Life Support certification required.
• Additional qualifications: hospital anesthesia tech experience preferred; EMT paramedic, ACLS, and PALS desirable for some units.

Responsibilities

• Assist anesthesiologist/anesthetist in acquisition, preparation and application of anesthesia equipment and supplies.
• Support routine surgical cases by maintaining patient equipment and anesthesia delivery systems before, during and after anesthesia.

Description

Under direct supervision of a licensed anesthesia professional or Anesthesia Technologist: assists the anesthesiologist and/or anesthetist in the acquisition, preparation and application of the equipment and supplies required for the administration of anesthesia. Adheres to Universal Precautions in all clinical areas. Provides support to routine surgical cases by assisting in the preparations and maintenance of patient equipment and anesthesia delivery systems, before, during and after anesthesia.

Estimated pay range for this position is $20.42 - $28.16 / hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

Degrees:

• High School,Cert,GED,Trn,Exper.

Licenses & Certifications:

• Basic Life Support.

Additional Qualifications:

• Hospital experience as an anesthesia technician preferred.
• Experience as an EMT paramedic desired.
• Knowledge in ACLS desirable.
• Knowledge in PALS desirable for BHM, HH, MASC.
