Job summary

Huntsville Hospital Health System seeks an anesthesia attendant to assist CRNAs and anesthesiologists in preparing each operating room for cases, maintaining stock drugs and supplies, and supporting daily case turnover.

You will clean and maintain equipment, check anesthesia records, and assist during inductions and regional anesthetics under CRNA supervision. A high school diploma is preferred, with college optional.

Qualifications

• Requires advanced computer skills and clerical aptitude.
• Surgical or medical terminology course preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist CRNAs and anesthesiologists in preparing each OR for cases.
• Maintain stock drugs and supplies inventory.
• Clean and maintain equipment; check all against anesthesia records.
• Turn over rooms between cases; prepare PAT sheets and charts.
• Assist during inductions and regional anesthetics under CRNA supervision.
