Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Graduate (or equivalent).
• At least 1 year of patient care experience or healthcare setting.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 6 months unless determined not required.
• Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Clean instruments and equipment used in anesthesia to ensure supplies are available.
• Assist with preoperative preparation and setup of machines, equipment, and medications as requested.
• Assist during difficult intubations or patient crises as equipment facilitator.
• Help with post-procedure cleanup and setup for the next case.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and escalate major problems to supervisor.
• Provide age-appropriate patient care according to department standards.
