Beth Israel Lahey Health in Burlington, MA is seeking an Anesthesia Technician Assistant to support licensed anesthesia providers and the anesthesia care team in preparation and maintenance of equipment for surgical cases. Your role involves setting up anesthesia cases, stocking and sanitizing equipment, and collaborating with the anesthesia team to ensure efficient, safe patient care across all locations.

Responsibilities

Assist with anesthesia case set up
Assists the Anesthesia Tech in set up of equipment and supplies according to the type of cases and ages of the patients. Consults with Anesthesia Techs for specific setup needs as necessary or requested in all anesthesia locations.
Clean, stock, and maintain the routine anesthesia equipment and supplies.
Under the supervision of an Anesthesia Tech, cleans anesthesia machines and other anesthesia equipment after each case to meet target times. Stock anesthesia supplies before, during and after cases.
Assist Anesthesia Technicians as requested, as long as within scope of practice.
Interacts with the Anesthesia team to ensure that all anesthesia supplies are stocked and available in the most efficient and effective manner
Other duties as needed.
