Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking an Anesthesia Technician Assistant to support licensed anesthesia providers across surgical settings. You will help prepare and maintain patient equipment and supplies before, during, and after anesthesia, ensuring smooth case flow and adherence to department standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• No licensure or certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with anesthesia case setup.
• Assist the Anesthesia Tech in setup of equipment and supplies according to the type of case and patient age.
• Clean, stock, and maintain routine anesthesia equipment and supplies.
• Under supervision, clean anesthesia machines and equipment after each case to meet target times.
• Assist Anesthesia Technicians as requested within scope of practice.
• Ensure anesthesia supplies are stocked and available efficiently.
• Participate in quality improvement activities as needed.
