Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking an Anesthesia Technician Assistant to join the anesthesia patient care team. Working under the Anesthesia Manager or designee, you assist licensed anesthesia providers in preparing and maintaining patient equipment and supplies before, during, and after surgery.

Essential duties include setting up cases, stocking and cleaning equipment, and supporting the anesthesia team to ensure timely operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and 18 years of age required.
• Licensure/certification: None required.
• No additional specific skills, knowledge, or abilities are required to apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist with anesthesia case set up.
• Assist with setup of equipment and supplies for various cases and patient ages.
• Clean, stock, and maintain routine anesthesia equipment and supplies.
• Clean anesthesia machines and equipment after each case and stock supplies.
• Assist Anesthesia Technicians as requested within scope of practice.
• Interact with the Anesthesia team to ensure supplies are stocked and available efficiently.
• Perform other duties as needed.
