Our cases include General Surgery, Orthopedics, Neurological, Cardiovascular, Plastics, Ear Nose Throat (ENT), Urology and Gynecological (GYN) procedures. SUMMARY:

The Anesthesia Safety Technician is responsible for preparing operating rooms with equipment and supplies to support the daily workload with occasional guidance; assists anesthetists and anesthesiologists, patients and co-workers; accountable for verifying, cleaning, tracking and maintaining equipment, specialty carts, trays and inventory needed by the Anesthesiology Department.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience: 1 year experience as surgical technician, certified surgical technician, licensed practical nurse, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. Willing to train individual with desire and initiative to learn.

Other: Ability to read, write and communicate effectively. Basic computer skills required.
