Job summary

Baxter Health Urology Clinic in Mountain Home, AR is seeking a Medical Assistant for a full-time daytime schedule (M-Th 7:30-5:00, Fri 7:30-12). Under supervision of a provider, you will handle administrative and clinical tasks, including scheduling, medical records, billing and coding for insurance, taking vital signs, and preparing patients for examination.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent; at least two years in a related role is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum two years’ related work experience preferred.
• CNA certification preferred.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively; basic computer knowledge required.

SUMMARY: Perform administrative and certain clinical duties under the direction of a provider, such as scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, billing and coding information for insurance purposes, taking and recording vital signs and medical histories, and preparing patients for examination.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience: Minimum two (2) years’ related work experience preferred. Previous medical office experience preferred.

Other: Ability to read, write and communicate effectively. Basic computer knowledge required.

Preferred: Certified Nurse Assistant
