Job summary

You will assign diagnostic codes to medical records, ensuring inpatient and observation accounts are coded accurately and timely using ICD-10-CM and HCPCS.

The role requires an Associate degree in Health Information Management or related field, 3 years of professional coding experience, and preferred RHIA/RHIT/CCS/CPC credentials.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Health Information Management or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional coding experience.
• RHIA, RHIT, CCS, or CPC preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy & physiology, and ICD-9-CM and CPT-4 coding guidelines.
• Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities
