Job summary

CareWell Health Medical Center in East Orange, NJ is seeking a dedicated technician to support anesthesia delivery systems and related devices. You will clean, assemble, calibrate, and troubleshoot equipment, restock carts in each OR suite, and verify laryngoscope battery function under RN or anesthesia care provider supervision.

Qualifications

High school diploma required.
Knowledge of anesthesia equipment and monitors preferred.
Ability to follow safety and infection control procedures.

Responsibilities

Care of physiological monitors related to the administration of anesthesia.
Storage, use, and safe handling of bulk and cylinder gases.
Restocks anesthesia cart in each OR suite and checks item expiration dates.
Disposes of used medications and replaces labels for medications.
Maintains and organizes the anesthesia environment and equipment.
Notifies nurses or scrub techs when supplies are running low.
