Position: Anesthesia Credentialed Veterinary Technician

This position offers an initial hourly range of $26.00 - $42.00, based on experience.

In this role, you will:

1. Assist in patient procedures, utilizing your knowledge of anesthesia and analgesia protocols, including formulating anesthetic plans tailored to individual needs.
2. Manage appointments, obtain histories, maintain medical records, handle invoicing, and oversee patient discharges.
3. Perform intravenous catheter placement, endotracheal intubation, and operate and maintain anesthetic equipment.
4. Understand anesthetic considerations, especially how comorbidities affect case protocols and perioperative management.
5. Monitor anesthesia, troubleshoot complications, and intervene appropriately.
6. Continuously expand your knowledge and skills, including advanced techniques such as arterial line placement, epidurals, difficult airway management, and critical case handling.
7. Apply your understanding of physiology and pharmacology to deliver appropriate care for high-risk patients and procedures.
8. Inspire, teach, multitask, and function as a highly effective team member.
9. Ensure documentation accuracy and completeness.

Who you are:

• State Registered Veterinary Technician license required.
• Prior veterinary experience required; anesthesia experience preferred.

• Flexible with work hours and able to work additional hours if needed.
• Capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
