Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Biology or Biochemistry (or related) is required.
• Laboratory experience is required.
• Experience handling human tissue and strict lab protocols preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office and EMR systems preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Opportunity Overview

We have an immediate opening for an Andrology Laboratory Technician to join our team at Reproductive Medicine Associates of New York in Mount Kisco, New York.

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with rotating weekends and holidays
• Compensation: Up to $24.04 per hour

In this role, the Andrology Laboratory Technician will:

• Perform routine sperm and blood analysis by receiving specimens from patients and/or staff
• Accession samples
• Perform procedures and ensure results are reported accurately
• Perform quality control procedures and maintain equipment
• Ensure laboratory quality assurance and quality control programs meet all requirements and industry standards as established by qualified outside agencies

Qualifications and Skills Include:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, Biochemistry or related science field required
• Experience in a laboratory setting required
• Proficiency in handling human tissue and following strict laboratory protocols is strongly preferred
• Proficiency using MS Office, patient EMR systems and ROCHE systems is strongly preferred
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
