Job summary

US Fertility is seeking an Andrology Lab Technician for the Chicago Chestnut location. The Saturday–Sunday shift runs 6:30 AM–12:00 PM with occasional holidays, at $23.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.

You will support the lab team by handling specimens, processing semen, managing supplies, and maintaining quality control to support ART procedures and IUIs in a patient‑focused environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year laboratory experience.
• Experience with a chemistry analyzer strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in biology or related field or MLT ASCP certification equivalent.
• Tissue culture experience and/or semen processing a plus.

Responsibilities

• Shipping, receiving and disposition of frozen samples.
• Order and receive lab supplies.
• Examine and process specimens for routine semen analysis.
• Perform counts for concentration and motility; perform histology prep for leucocytes, immature germ cells and morphology.
• Process semen for ART procedures and IUIs.
• Assure proper sample collection, delivery and identification (chain of custody).
• Perform daily/monthly QC procedures for media and equipment.
• Assist lab personnel to ensure accreditation compliance.

Opportunity Overview

We have an immediate opening for an Andrology Lab Technicianto join our team at Fertility Center of Illinois at our Chicago on Chestnut office ( 361 W. Chestnut, Chicago, Illinois).

• Schedule: Every Saturday and Sunday from, 6:30 AM to 12:00 PM, occasional holidays
• Compensation: $23.00 per hour (commensurate with experience)

In this role, the Andrology Lab Techwill:

• Shipping, receiving and disposition of frozen samples
• Ordering and receiving lab supplies
• Examine and process specimens for routine semen analysis
• Perform counts for concentration and motility, perform histological techniques for identifying leucocytes, immature germ cells and morphology
• Process semen for ART procedures and intrauterine inseminations (IUIs)
• Assure proper sample collection, delivery and identification (chain of custody)
• Perform daily/monthly quality control procedures for media and equipment used in the Andrology laboratory
• Assist laboratory personnel in performing lab services in accordance with Federal, State, and local laws and guidelines to ensure laboratory maintains accreditation
