Esri is seeking a Software Developer II to build cutting-edge Android apps for field data collection, mapping, and navigation. You will work with a cross-functional team to deliver high-performance mobile experiences and offline data sync, GPS integration, and scalable code across real-world field workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related field.
• 2+ years of commercial software development experience.
• Proficient in Kotlin and Android platform development.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to adapt in a changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Build Android apps from architecture to design (ICS and up).
• Collaborate with developers and designers throughout the development process.
• Understand user requirements to meet real-world scenarios.
• Develop software for field mapping, data collection, sensor networks, street navigation, and more.
• Advocate Android best practices within Esri and contribute to team growth.
• Participate in design and code reviews to elevate quality.
