Android or iOS Developer

Must-Have Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience as an Android and/or iOS Developer.
• 3+ years of experience in Angular development.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies like Scrum.
• Experience working directly with clients and stakeholders.
• Developing and maintaining software using Kotlin and Java.
• Reactive programming experience with RxJava.
• Creating automated unit tests and ensuring code quality.
• Experience with Jetpack libraries.
• Experience developing and launching native Android & iOS apps to Google Play & Apple Store.
• Understanding of fragments, animation, threading, and Android SDKs.
• Experience performing peer code reviews.
• Experience with Backbase platform and Fintech domain.

Nice to Haves:

• Experience working with REST APIs.
• Desire to work with the latest Android technologies.
• Experience in financial services or professional services industries.

Location

This is a 100% remote full-time position. Candidates outside Canada will work as independent contractors.

Compensation

The salary range is CAD $90K-$120K annually or equivalent hourly rate for contractors, based on skills and experience.
