Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States seeks an experienced Android developer to design and implement complex mobile features using Kotlin and Java. You will build engaging experiences for home buyers, improve performance, and collaborate with product and design teams.

You will participate in on-call rotations, review code, write documentation, and help establish best practices across platforms. Experience with AI code-generation tools like GitHub CoPilot, Anthropic Claude Code, or Cursor is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of development experience.
• At least 2 years of native Android experience.
• Practical experience building Android applications in Kotlin and Java.
• Solid understanding of computer science and engineering fundamentals.
• Ability to collaborate across distances and experience levels.
• Passion for well-architected, clean, well-written code.
• Experience using AI code generation tools such as GitHub CoPilot, Anthropic Claude Code, Cursor, or similar.
• Experience with running experiments and experimentation frameworks is a plus.
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation, if applicable, including nights and weekends.
