Nordstrom is seeking a Manual QA Engineer for the Android application to join a fast-paced, agile team. You will perform manual regression and functional testing, leverage AI tools in testing, and contribute to test planning and documentation.

The role emphasizes collaboration with iOS/Android developers, designers, and product owners to ensure high-quality mobile experiences for customers in a dynamic retail context.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in manual testing.
• Knowledge of Atlassian stack (Jira, Confluence).
• Understanding of the SDLC process and testing methodologies.
• Practical experience with using AI tools in testing.
• Understanding of Agile environments (Scrum and Kanban).
• Nice to have: 1+ years of experience with mobile app testing, Android platform preferred.
• Familiarity with Android guidelines and components.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual regression / functional testing of the native Android application
• Leverage AI native SDLC for testing purposes
• Efficiently execute test cases across all functional and UI areas of our products
• Estimate testing activities, take part in grooming/planning sessions
• Create & maintain a detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test documentation
• Find and track bugs, communicate on possible risks
• Communicate status and escape issues in a timely fashion
• Verify and validate bug fixes, and collaborate with engineering team
• Maintain compliance with policies, procedures, and methodologies for product quality
