Job summary

Stripe, a leading payments platform, is seeking an Android engineer to join the Terminal team in San Francisco. You will design, build, and maintain Android apps and SDKs in Kotlin, focusing on in-person payments and device integration.

Collaborate with product, design, and other engineers to ship features, improve developer experiences, and ensure scalable mobile experiences across devices. 2–6 years of Android experience is expected; base salary ranges are provided.

Qualifications

• 2–6 years of Android development experience.
• Strong Kotlin skills and modern Android architecture understanding.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Android apps and SDKs in Kotlin.
• Develop Android payment applications for a variety of devices and form factors.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and stakeholders to bring features to Stripe's mobile users.
• Set best practices for Android development across the company.
• Work with user research and product design to understand and address user needs.
