Job summary

Ampa seeks a Software Engineer to own the Android tablet app interfacing with our TMS medical device. You’ll craft robust, UX-focused Android experiences in Java/Kotlin and TypeScript, integrating with backend services and hardware interfaces.

You’ll collaborate with React Native engineers, build native bridges, and ensure data integrity for clinical records in a high-stakes environment. Remote-friendly, equity offered for early team members.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building production Android apps in Java/Kotlin.
• Strong UI/UX instincts with attention to detail for high-stakes clinical environments.
• Experience with React Native bridges and TypeScript/JavaScript stack.

Responsibilities

• Own development of the Android tablet application interfacing with TMS hardware.
• Implement and maintain high-performance native bridges (Java/C++ to TS).
• Manage real-time data streams, binary serial protocols, and data integrity for treatment records.
• Collaborate with React/React Native teams and mentor junior engineers.
