Job summary

FOUND, a fast-growing aviation technology company, is seeking an Android Engineer to build a scalable, mission-critical mobile platform used by real-world field teams. You will own end-to-end Android development, work with cross-functional teams, and optimize Kotlin-based apps for low-connectivity environments, with emphasis on robust UX and performance in demanding settings.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional Android development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and the Android SDK.
• Familiarity with MVVM, MVI, or similar architectures.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs, offline caching, and error handling.
• Experience with Jetpack Compose and modern Android development practices.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as JUnit, Espresso, and Appium.
• Experience with Git and Agile development environments.
• Strong understanding of material design, responsive layouts, and mobile performance optimization.
• Excellent debugging and communication skills.
• Comfortable operating in a startup with high ownership and autonomy.
