Job summary

VDart Inc. is seeking an experienced Android developer for an onsite contract opportunity in NYC or Dallas.

You will lead mobile development efforts, implement modern architectures, and integrate secure authentication and real-time data streams across platforms. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in Android, strong Kotlin skills, and hands-on experience with MVVM or similar patterns, plus CI/CD and Play Store release management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional Android development experience.
• Expert-level proficiency in Kotlin; strong knowledge of Java.
• Architecture: MVVM, Clean Architecture, or MVI patterns.
• Security: biometric authentication, encryption, certificate pinning, OAuth 2.0/OpenID Connect.
• Testing: JUnit, Espresso, Mockito, Robolectric.
• CI/CD: experience setting up automated build and deployment pipelines.
• API Integration: REST APIs, GraphQL, and WebSockets.
• Play Store: Google Play Console, app signing, staged rollouts, and release management.
• Version Control: Git (GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket).
