Job summary

Stratos, Inc. is seeking an experienced Android Developer in Ann Arbor, MI to own the mobile experience of the StratosCard. You’ll translate designs into polished, performant Android applications and collaborate closely with product and backend teams.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of Android development and its evolution.
• Experience with the entire Android development lifecycle including version control, build processes, testing, and Play Store distribution.
• Experience building Android applications that are currently in the Play Store.
• Ability to develop polished user interfaces with attention to detail and following specifications.
• Demonstrated ability to write clean and testable code.
• Experience with JSON, beta testing services, and unit testing.
• Experience with version control tools (Git).
• Analytical and creative problem solving skills.
• Strong time, priority and task management.
• Good communication with team members and support personnel.

• Work from technical, functional, and mockups to build the consumer-facing application.

How You Can Make An Impact.

We are looking for a creative engineer to develop the mobile experience for the StratosCard by undertaking and owning fundamental development challenges. You will be joining a small but highly skilled team that is passionate about building software for both the consumer and the merchant. You’ll be collaborating with all team members to help develop the vision for new features and products, providing creative and technical insight.

• Able to develop polished user interfaces, with attention to details and following detailed specifications.
• Demonstrated ability to create clean and testable code.
