Notion is hiring an Android Engineer to build the native foundation of the Notion Android app. You will own sections of the UI, improve speed and stability, and work across Home, Inbox, and editor surfaces with Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and a Rust layer.

You’ll collaborate with product and mobile AI engineers to ship features and improve performance. You’ll join a team that values craft, speed, and reliability, with an anchor in-person presence on specific days in SF or NYC, and a compensation

Qualifications

• Built and shipped Android apps using Kotlin and modern Android tooling.
• Experience with Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Coroutines/Flow, and Gradle in large modular codebases.
• Strong performance profiling, offline sync, and memory management skills.
• Excellent communication, product instincts, and ability to move from idea to launch.
