OPC Pest Services in Murray, KY is seeking an Installation Technician to join our team on a part-time basis. You will install attic remediation systems, crawl space encapsulations, gutter protection systems, and other home service products to protect homes and improve energy efficiency.

No pest control experience is required; we provide training and support to help you learn and succeed, with a clear path for growth within a stable, local company.

• Must have at least 1 year general carpentry experience.
• Valid driver's license must be maintained through life of employment.

Qualifications

Must maintain a good driving record and be able to pass criminal history background check, physical exam and drug screen.

Physical Demands / Working Environment:

Candidates must be able to perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodations:

• Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity
• Constant walking, standing, bending, squatting, kneeling, crawling, twisting, climbing on ladders and roofs, reaching overhead, and squeezing with both hands
• Install encapsulation in low light conditions
• Lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc.
• Able to work in all types of weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, sleet, hail, snow and ice
• Noise level in work environment is generally loud depending on worksite where assigned, such as in new construction, while vacuuming insulation, etc.
