OPC Pest Services, based in Cincinnati, is seeking a Utility Technician to join our team year-round in Cincinnati and Southern Ohio. You’ll install attic remediation systems, crawl space encapsulations, gutter protection systems, and other home service products to protect homeowners’ biggest investments.

No pest control experience is required; training is provided. The role offers starting pay at $19/hour, with potential to reach $40,000–$50,000 per year plus uncapped commissions through sales

• Must have at least 1 year general carpentry experience
• Valid driver's license must be maintained through life of employment

• Install attic remediation systems, crawl space encapsulations, gutter protection systems, and other home service products
• Help restore and protect homes from pest damage and head off future issues
• Complete service-related documentation accurately
• Work in a variety of environments, including attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, and exterior spaces
• Safely operate company vehicles, including larger-capacity box trucks
• Deliver quality workmanship that homeowners can trust

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old

Must maintain a good driving record and be able to pass criminal history background check, physical exam and drug screen.

Physical Demands / Working Environment:

Candidates must be able to perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonableaccommodations:

• Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer’s weight capacity
• Constant walking, standing, bending, squatting, kneeling, crawling, twisting, climbing on ladders and roofs, reaching overhead, and squeezing with both hands
• Install encapsulation in low light conditions
• Lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc.
• Able to work in all types of weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, sleet, hail, snow and ice
• Noise level in work environment is generally loud depending on worksite where assigned, such as in new construction, while vacuuming insulation, etc.
