Job summary

Texscape Services in Dallas is seeking an experienced Ancillary Manager to provide leadership and accountability for landscape enhancement projects. The ideal candidate will oversee daily scheduling, manage production staff, and ensure communication with Project Managers. A Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience is required, along with a valid driver's license and Commercial Pesticide Applicators License.

The position offers competitive base pay between $60,000 – $65,000, along with various benefits including medical, dental, and vision plans, retirement savings, and flexible time off.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Landscape Architecture, or Horticulture, or at least 5 years related work experience.
  • Valid driver license issued by the state where employed.
  • Commercial Pesticide Applicators License, or ability to obtain within 1 year.
  • Certified Landscape Technician (CLT) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee scheduling of daily work and assignment of tasks.
  • Ensure timely communication with Project Managers.
  • Assist with bid preparation and design.
  • Analyze cost reports and budget variances.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and subcontractors.

Job Summary

Provide leadership and accountability for the efficient, safe, and profitable production of enhancement projects.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Landscape Architecture, or Horticulture, or at least 5 years related work experience.
  • Valid driver license issued by the state where employed.

  • Organizational and time‑management skills for prioritizing tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
Physical Requirements

Working Conditions
  • Occasional work with mechanical objects, outside, all weather.
  • Exposure to fumes, airborne particles, chemicals.
  • Exposure to loud noise levels.
Essential Duties
  • Oversee scheduling of daily work and assignment of tasks to enhancement production staff.
  • Ensure timely and effective communication with Project Managers.
  • Assist with bid preparation and design.
  • Analyze cost reports and budget variances.
  • Prepare monthly forecasts of labor and materials; accurate job costing.
  • Meet or exceed budget line items.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and subcontractors.
  • Add and update client and project information in CRM.
  • Communicate tasks to management and production teams.
  • Administer paperwork: timecards, job costing, billing, new employee paperwork.
  • Demonstrate leadership: develop morale, recognize achievements, foster professional development.
  • Promote adherence to company policies and best practices.
  • Indirect supervision of 4-6 enhancement crews; direct supervision of 1-4 production managers.
  • Training, planning, assigning, directing work.
  • Problem resolution.
  • Document coaching and performance management discussions.
  • Oversee performance management programs.
  • Conduct monthly safety meetings.
  • Other duties as assigned.
