Job summary

RESPEC in Anchorage, Alaska is seeking a Structural BIM Technician to join our full-service engineering team. You will draft and model complex structures using Revit, AutoCAD, and related BIM/CAD tools to support multidisciplinary design efforts.

You’ll collaborate across disciplines to visualize, coordinate, and document plans, elevations, and details while maintaining BIM/CAD libraries and pursuing continuous learning in cutting-edge technologies.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in BIM and CADD software (Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD).
• Strong visualization skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work and communicate effectively in a collaborative team setting.
• Interest in emerging technologies.

Responsibilities

• Cutting-Edge Technology: work primarily in Revit and leverage Autodesk Construction Cloud, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam Revu to enhance workflows.
• Impactful work: model wood, steel, concrete, and masonry structures and produce plans, elevations, and details.
• Visualize and Coordinate: visualize complex structures to ensure cross-discipline coordination.
• Library Management: curate and maintain BIM and CADD library, ensuring access to resources.
