Job Description

We are interested in developing long-term relationships with superior instructors who have high professional standards, excellent communication skills, enthusiasm, and a commitment to providing the finest practitioner-focused education.

We seek primarily Industry Professionals to share their knowledge and experience with undergraduate BSN nursing students on-site in Atlanta, GA.

Anatomy & Physiology I-IV with Lab (BIOS-251 thru BIOS-256):

This is a four-course sequence studying human anatomy and physiology using a body systems approach. Coursework emphasizes interrelationships between form and function at the gross and microscopic levels of organization.

Topics include:

  • Basic anatomical and directional terminology, muscle tissues, cell biology, and the integumentary and skeletal systems
  • Muscular and nervous systems, special senses, and endocrine system
  • Cardiovascular, immune, and respiratory systems
  • Digestive, urinary, and reproductive systems

Courses may meet once or twice weekly for eight weeks. The face-to-face interaction in lab and classroom is blended with technology (such as online discussions and assignments) for an enhanced learning environment. Commitment is on a course-by-course basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver courses using an approved syllabus following campus templates, including terminal course objectives.
  • Organize, prepare, and regularly update all course materials.
  • Utilize appropriate online technologies and course-related software for preparing and delivering course content.
  • Model effective oral and written communication to engage students and enhance learning.
  • Set clear expectations by publishing course objectives, assignment/exam dates, and evaluation criteria.
  • Ensure exam content aligns with course objectives.
  • Grade exams fairly and provide timely feedback.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, ensuring compliance with policies and standards.

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree required for all faculty positions, with 18 graduate hours in the subject for undergraduate teaching.
  • Subject matter expertise and excellent communication skills are essential.
  • Motivational and instructional skills suitable for diverse and non-traditional environments.
  • Ability to work collegially and facilitate diverse groups.
  • Additional requirements may apply based on state licensing or accreditation.

Additional Information

Chamberlain Visiting Professor Position - Campus:

Compensation ranges from $1,120 to $7,245 per assignment, depending on education and experience. Actual pay may vary based on course type, experience, location, licensure, market factors, departmental budgets, and responsibilities.
