Job summary

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for an Assistant Professor-in-Residence in Anatomy and Physiology within the Department of Kinesiology and Nutrition Sciences. The 9-month appointment focuses on delivering lectures and laboratory instruction to large classes.

Summer teaching is available for additional compensation, and the successful candidate will employ active learning strategies and contribute to program assessment and student success.

Qualifications

• Terminal degree from an accredited college or university (PhD/EdD/ScD, etc.).
• At least one year of university teaching experience.
• Credentials must be obtained prior to the start date.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures and laboratory instruction in Anatomy & Physiology.
• Teach large lecture sections of students with focus on mastery of concepts.
• Participate in program assessment and curricular development; collaborate with instructional teams.
• Summer teaching is available for additional compensation.
