Job summary

Western Iowa Tech Community College is seeking an adjunct instructor to teach Fall and Spring Anatomy & Physiology courses face-to-face in Sioux City, IA. Several sections are available between 8AM and 5PM, with pay per course.

The successful candidate will hold a Master’s degree in biology or a related field, with teaching experience preferred. You must meet minimum faculty standards and conform to college policies and procedures. This PT role is based in Iowa.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in biology or related field required.
• Adjunct instructor appointment is on an as-needed basis.
• Teaching experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach Fall and Spring face-to-face Anatomy & Physiology courses as available.
• Develop and utilize diverse instructional strategies to meet student learning styles.
• Evaluate and report student performance in line with college policies.
• Meet minimum faculty standards for hire and adhere to college procedures.
