Western Iowa Tech Community College is seeking an Art Adjunct Instructor to teach Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 face-to-face Art classes in Sioux City, IA, as available and assigned.

The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree in Art or related field with 18 graduate credits in Art and has teaching experience. Salary is $830 per credit hour, and employment is on an as-needed, part-time basis. Applicants residing in Iowa, Nebraska, or South Dakota will be considered.

• Teaching experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• This position is responsible for teaching Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 face-to-face Art classes as available and assigned in accordance with course competencies and syllabi.
• Develops and/or utilizes a variety of instructional strategies, techniques and delivery methods designed to meet the individual learning style of students.
• Must evaluate and report student performances and progress in courses in accordance with College and division policies and procedures.
• Must meet minimum faculty standards for hire and adhere to college policies and procedures.
