Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma / GED; Associate degree preferred but not required
• Basic computer knowledge and strong inventory and bookkeeping skills are required
• Successful experience in laboratory management and knowledge of laboratory safety a plus
• Willingness to work respectfully with anatomical donors and follow established laboratory procedures
• Ability to work under direct supervision and independently
• Ability to learn and operate simulation manikins, medical equipment, audiovisual systems, and related software
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment problems and recognize when additional support is needed
• Ability to organize competing priorities and prepare multiple learning spaces within scheduled timeframes

Responsibilities

• Maintaining the human anatomy laboratory and simulation center in a clean, safe, organized, and operational manner for students, faculty, staff, and external users
• Preparing and setting up laboratory sessions, simulation activities, and other educational experiences; ensuring timely cleanup, reset, and restoration of facilities
• Supporting day-to-day operation of the anatomy laboratory and simulation center, adhering to policies, safety standards, and facility protocols
• Managing inventory of laboratory, simulation, and instructional supplies; ordering materials; receiving and stocking deliveries; maintaining records
• Providing technical and logistical support to students, faculty, staff, and external users to facilitate instruction and programming
• Assisting in training students and faculty on laboratory safety, procedures, and equipment operations
• Ensuring compliance with institutional policies and relevant standards governing use and disposal of human anatomical specimens and simulation facilities
