Quest Diagnostics in Lewisville, TX is seeking an Anatomic Pathology Support Representative I to support the Anatomic Pathology function. The role operates Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM and involves general support tasks in the department.

Responsibilities include filing, LIS data entry, mail handling, slide preparation, QA/QC support, and client communication. The position requires a high school diploma and strong clerical and computer skills, with modest prior related experience

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year related experience preferred.
• Basic computer functions essential.
• Quest LIS knowledge desirable.

Responsabilidades

• File and retrieve slides as requested.
• Electronic recording of slides into LIS.
• Mail handling and distribution within the department.
• Storage of laboratory records according to protocol.
• May load/unload slides onto the Focal Point instrument.
• Print/Collate History Match.
• Manage requests for recuts, stains, immunohistochemistry.
• May participate in QA/QC support activities.
• May contact clients for additional information.
• May handle incoming calls professionally.
• Other duties as assigned.
