Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Lewisville, TX is seeking an Anatomic Path Support Representative I to join our team on a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

This role provides general support for the Anatomic Pathology function, including filing slides, LIS data entry, mail handling and record storage. Candidates should have a high school diploma and at least 1 year of related experience; pay starts at $17.20 per hour with benefits and potential annual bonuses.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1 year of related experience is preferred.
• Basic computer functions knowledge; LIS knowledge is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Filing and retrieval of slides as requested.
• Electronic recording of slides into LIS.
• Mail handling and distribution within the department.
• Storage of laboratory records per protocol.
• May load/unload slides onto the Focal Point instrument.
• Print and collate History Match.
• Coordinate requests for recuts, special stains, and IHC stains.
• Participate in QA/QC activities as needed.
• Assist with client communications and other duties as assigned.

Pay range: $17.20+ per hour

Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Responsibilities

• Electronic recording of slides into Laboratory Information System (LIS)
• Mail handling and distribution within the department
• Storage of laboratory records according to established record management protocol
• May load/unload slides onto the Focal Point instrument
• Print/Collate History Match
• Manage process for requesting recuts, special stains and immunohistochemistry stains
• May participate in QA/QC support activities
• May contact clients to request additional information
• May handle incoming calls, responding in a professional and timely manner
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required WorkExperience:

1-yearrelated experience preferred

Physical and Mental Requirements:

• The normal performance of duties may require lifting and carrying objects: Objects 1 to 10 pounds are lifted and carried frequently; objects 11 to 25 pounds are lifted and carried occasionally; objects 36 to 50 pounds are seldom lifted or carried and objects over 50 pounds are not to be lifted or carried without assistance.
• Ability to stand and work at the bench for long periods of time.
• Frequent walking and/orstanding.
• May be required to use a wide variety of manual tools and laboratory instruments and apparatuses all of whichdemand significant manual dexterity

Knowledge:

• Knowledge of basic computer functions
• Quest LIS knowledge is desirable
