Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking a Pathology Accessioner to support specimen preparation and processing in our laboratory. You will help ensure aseptic technique, accurate records, and timely, high‑quality results for patient care while collaborating with staff to maintain smooth operations.

You will receive and sort specimens, prepare samples for testing, enter data, monitor equipment, and follow standard procedures to ensure safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Receives and sorts clinical lab specimens.
• Prepares specimens for testing and analysis.

• Maintains lab equipment and performs minor instrumentation maintenance.
• Troubleshoots specimen related issues.
• Reconciles daily logs to ensure delivery of testing.
