Job summary

New Frontier Animal Medical Center in Stillwater, OK, seeks an Anatomic Pathology Resident for a full-time, annually renewed position beginning July 31, 2027. The role is in-person and includes a salary of $50,000 per year plus comprehensive benefits.

As a resident you will engage with diagnostic case material from OADDL, prepare reports, participate in rounds, seminars, teaching, and board preparation. Travel to meetings may be required; concurrent enrollment in a graduate degree is optional.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree from an AVMA accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Participation in pathology diagnostic services.
• Necropsy and biopsy service duties.
• Preparation of case reports and diagnostic interpretations.
• Case communication with clinicians and clients.
• Participation in rounds, seminars, case presentations, and teaching activities.
• Participation in oral and written scholarship.
• Independent study and board preparation activities.
