Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous hospital or clinical laboratory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with specimen processing and chain of custody.
• Excellent multitasking and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Verify, accept, and process surgical pathology and other Anatomic Pathology specimens.
• Sort and distribute specimens ensuring proper patient identifiers and orders.
• Escalate discrepancies or labeling issues per policy.
• Organize and route specimens to appropriate work areas.
• Maintain specimen integrity, chain of custody, and documentation.
