Job description

ANATOMIC PATHOLOGIST, BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS (USA), with surgical pathology and/or cytopathology and other subspecialty fellowship training preferred.

The Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine at Boston Medical Center Health System and Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine is recruiting a full-time AP board certified/eligible Pathologist who has strong general pathology and other subspecialty skills. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated interest in teaching pathology residents, medical and graduate students. There is an expectation of scholarly activity including collaborative research and publications, but the candidate will not be expected to submit grants for extramural funding. Academic rank will depend on the credentials of the applicant. Boston Medical Center was formed by the merger of the historic Boston City Hospital and Boston University Hospital in 1996. We are a non-profit 496 bed academic medical center located in the South End of Boston. The Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine has 37 faculty who engage in clinical service, education and research.
