Job summary

Adelphi Medical Staffing, LLC is seeking a board-certified pathologist to cover inpatient pathology in Cape Girardeau, MO. The physician will read slides, issue diagnostic reports, and oversee grossing with histotech and PA assistance.

Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with weekend call every other weekend and beeper-based responses within 15 minutes. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered by the agency.

Qualifications

• Board-certified pathologist with active license in MO or IMLC.
• BLS certification.
• Board-certified pathologist with experience in inpatient pathology coverage.

Responsibilities

• Provide pathology coverage including reading slides and issuing diagnostic reports.
• Oversee grossing and specimen processing with histotech and PA support.
• Perform weekday clinical duties Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm.
• Participate in weekend call coverage, every other weekend with beeper and 15-minute response time.
• Ensure timely turnaround of pathology results to prevent delays.
