Job summary

Polestar Analytics is seeking an experienced Anaplan Model Builder with Level 3 Certification to lead the design and development of sophisticated Anaplan solutions. We are seeking an experienced Anaplan Model Builder with Level 3 Certification to lead the design and development of sophisticated Anaplan solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Anaplan architecture, best practices (PLANS & DISCO), and advanced model building techniques.

As a key member of the Enterprise Planning team, this role requires a strategic thinker who can translate complex business needs into scalable, maintainable, and high-performing Anaplan models that drive actionable insights across multiple business functions.

Your Role and Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design, build, and optimization of complex Anaplan models, ensuring adherence to best practices.
• Effectively apply time-based logic to manage, isolate, and streamline calculations across multiple planning periods.
• Design and implement access controls to enhance both usability and data security.
• Build and maintain centralized data structures and integration points to support consistent, scalable planning processes.
• Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve calculation issues to ensure data accuracy and model reliability.
• Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of planning models, including version control, updates, and environment migration.
• Configure and manage dynamic data points to support evolving business requirements and data inputs.
• Drive continuous model improvements, documentation, and version control for all Anaplan artifacts.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior model builders and business users.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 5+ years of hands-on Anaplan experience, with ownership of full-cycle model builds.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Technical Skills

• Understanding of Connected Planning and cross-functional planning processes in Finance, Sales, Supply Chain, or HR.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Jira, and project collaboration platforms.
