Our client is seeking an experienced Anaplan Business Analyst to support the design, implementation, and maintenance of financial models within the Anaplan platform, in this hybrid contract opportunity. This role acts as a vital bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that financial modeling requirements are translated into actionable solutions.

The ideal candidate will work closely with Anaplan Model Builders, finance teams, and business users to deliver comprehensive financial planning models and ensure the smooth integration of financial data. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic, forward-thinking financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with Anaplan Model Builders to gather and document business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Act as the primary liaison between finance teams, business users, and technical stakeholders.
• Assist in the design, development, and testing of Anaplan models to support financial planning and analysis.
• Support the implementation of new financial models, ensuring successful data integration, validation, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Document business processes, model logic, and user stories to ensure clarity, alignment, and consistent communication across all stakeholders.
• Analysis & Reporting:
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, enhance model accuracy, and inform strategic business decisions.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports within Anaplan to meet evolving business needs.
• Training & Documentation:
• Create comprehensive user guides and training materials for end-users.
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting to ensure the effective use of Anaplan models across the business.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex financial data and business processes.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
• Experience with Anaplan is highly preferred.
• Proven ability to collaborate within cross-functional teams, especially involving finance and IT departments.
• Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to accurately document requirements and processes.

Additional Information:

• Contract Duration: Ongoing, with a 90-day probation period. The position is expected to last for years, depending on the fit.
