Analyzer Tech (La Porte, TX) – Austin Industrial (BAYSTAR)

Austin Industrial, Inc. - We are currently seeking an experienced Analyzer to work onsite in Pasadena, Texas.
This position requires a Valid Driver License.
Maintenance position working 4x10’s plus occasional OT - No Per Diem.

Maintaining and troubleshooting analytical instruments and systems in chemical plant environment. Ensure that all analyzers are performing optimally, conducting regular inspections, calibrations, and troubleshooting issues to minimize downtime and ensure the smooth operation of the facility.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of a wide variety of analyzers, including but not limited to gas, liquid, and process analyzers.
  • Calibrate and maintain instrumentation to ensure proper functionality and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Work with various teams to install, troubleshoot, and repair analyzers and related equipment.
  • Ensure the continuous performance of analyzers, and work on optimizing the functionality to meet operational requirements.
  • Document and report all maintenance activities, repairs, and calibration results.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on analyzers and related systems to ensure maximum uptime.
  • Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to address any technical issues and improve system performance.
  • Participate in troubleshooting equipment failures and recommend modifications or replacements when needed.
  • Adhere to safety standards and ensure safe work practices are followed in all activities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required for this Position:

Education – High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate Degree or technical certifications in a related field preferred.

Experience – Proven experience in analyzer maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration in a chemical or industrial environment. Familiarity with various types of analyzers, including gas, liquid, and process analyzers.
