Qualifications

• At least 3 years of professional experience performing analysis.
• Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field or Master's Degree or MBA with quantitative concentration.
• Master’s Degree in Business or quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Physical Sciences, Math, Statistics, Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in analysis
• 2+ years of experience in financial services
• 1+ year of experience in consulting
• 2+ years of experience in people management

Responsibilities

• Strategic leadership: Develop business strategies that will drive growth, profitability, and competitive success for Capital One.
• Leadership: May manage and develop 1-2 analysts and mentor associates to develop talent.
• Product: Develop and implement new product and pricing strategies for lending products; lead product level modeling/analytics.
• Marketing: Lead direct-to-consumer marketing efforts for select products and inform go-to-market strategies.
• Credit Risk: Connect drivers of future credit trends to historical behavior; create risk models and test hypotheses.
• Execution: Manage and deliver the product strategy across multiple projects and programs.
• Partnership: Collaborate with IT, Sales, Operations, Finance and others to drive improvements.
• Strategic & analytic orientation: Use analytics to drive decisions and problem solving.
• Executive communication: Clear written and verbal communication; influence via persuasion.
