Job summary

Salesforce is seeking an Analytics Specialist Solution Engineer (Tableau) to join the CBS vertical. You will drive technical demonstrations, translate business needs into analytics solutions, and partner with account and sales teams to show value.

You’ll work hybrid, near an East Coast office with travel to customer sites as needed, bringing Tableau expertise to modern data platforms like Snowflake or Databricks and contributing to scalable, data-driven customer experiences.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, Data Science, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Approximately 3–5 years of relevant SE, consulting, or analytics/BI experience.
• Hands-on experience across Tableau products or equivalent BI platform (e.g., Power BI).
• Experience with modern cloud data platforms such as Snowflake or Databricks.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to engage executive audiences.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for customer engagements.

Responsibilities

• Align innovative solutions to CBS account challenges, partnering with clients and internal teams across Salesforce product lines.
• Handle business development, operations strategy, and product demonstrations as a trusted advisor.
• Define ambiguous business problems through research and assessment; drive solutions and next steps.
• Evaluate solutions to steer decisions and deliver continued value.
• Demonstrate connected, data-driven experiences through software demos and rapid prototyping.
• Build customized solutions and demonstrations for multiple personas using Salesforce and Tableau.
• Understand customer data and analytics architecture related to Salesforce and Tableau, including Snowflake/Databricks.
